By 2019, the emissions produced by an eletric vehicle were around 3 times lower than the conventional car. Eletronic vehicles do this by reducing their direct emissions and emissions over their life-cycle. All electric vehicles produce zero direct emissions, whereas conventional cars emmit pollutants through its tailpipe. All vehciles produce a large quantity of life cycle emissions. Luckily, eletronic vehicles produces a smaller amount of life cycle emissions than conventional vehicles because buring gasoline or diesel produces more emissions than electricity generation. By driving electronic vehicles, we can slowly reduce climate change, and ensure that future generations have a clean, healthy place to live.
